The Media & the Information Overload Principal
With the bread and circuses paradigm viscerally nipping at our bootstraps, hundreds of millions of Americans and other “first world” nation citizens have voluntarily handed over their freedom of thought and expression to media conglomerates who have sought to pacify you, the people…with distraction. Industries where a voice of opinion could move a portion of society to promote change has been disabled and devalued.
Thus, the music industry was subverted by digitization and the sheer massive glut of available and new recordings now pass by “fans” that are unaware of the availability of the items or their relevance therein. As retail has become a dicey proposition, the consumer is told to turn toward the internet…further destabilizing the art form, and unless the consumer has in mind a specific item for purchase they are confronted with approximately 100,000 new full length issues per year.
Download that.
At this point some 21-25% of music sales are digital, and the industries net-after-returns income has fallen by almost half since the year 2000. Thus, in a city such as New York alone, over a decade ago revenue generated by music retail peaked over $300 million it is lucky if it grossed $100 million.
And let us not forget to indict the FCC for destabilizing local radio markets and for the acquiescent facilitation of the detrimental influence of satellite radio on that industry. Guilty of failure are also companies like Viacom for not making cable stations like MTV stay relevant and profitable.
In tandem with this devaluation of the industry; both economically and in regard to social relevance, we at Asharucorp believe that certain hypersonic frequencies in the application of mobile digitized sound quality has an over-stimulating effect on the amygdalla, thalamus and the limbic system in the human brain, encouraging an opioid-endorphin reaction that lessens overall interest in the content over time. For details of this formative research please feel free to peruse the “neuroacoustics” page on this site.
Film has been fending off similar attacks to its copyright sanctity, and the final frontier of this attack will be gauged by how well the book publishing industry addresses this issue.
We at Asharucorp are adversarial to the digitization of print, particularly in regard to book manuscripts, and will not be party to any initiative that is designed to aid in the success of the entrenchment of this destructive direction. For more information on our position regarding this technology please refer to our “digital media” page and/or the “legal notice” page. With the arts on the defensive the picture is still only half complete.
Sites such as Wikipedia are to be sure useful and informative, but symptomatic of the same issue…allow everyone to state their opinion in the name of democracy…edit content that you personally disagree with…blog your heart out. And what is the upshot of all of this freedom of expression…a sea of noise and chatter in which the voices of a thousand idiots drown the statements of each wise or educated person.
The information overload principal of distraction extends to the world of home entertainment systems and personal computers where the viewer is left a prone observer of the world, mixing fact and fiction, sports and pornography and any other hobby that may otherwise occupy the “consumer” to render his or her free time as inert as possible.
Thus, the unilateral digitization of High Definition and the excision of VHF and UHF analog signal are also within the vested interest of those that believe that they possess some elements of control. Think of it. With control of selected orbital satellites your telephone, internet, television and many radio stations could simple be “not available”. Even the remotest possibility of such an eventuality could be viewed by even the most casual observer as an arguably nefarious equation if it is at all a manageable possibility…but certainly to turn over control with little or no debate is no more than a fallacy of naivety.
How Can Real Change Occur within the Confines of Our Current System of Government?
We believe that there are certain measures that may be enacted to remedy some of the economic impediments that ail the U.S.A. The first and foremost being a shift in focus from the “global economy” premise to a premise that concentrates on repairing key issues that threaten to undermine the nature of our economy and society. These methodical steps may be referred to by the acronym D.E.L.E.R.N, which stands for:
Disable Foreign Dependencies: China & Saudi Arabia Encourage Domestic Exports, Manufacturing & Tariffs Limit Immigration & Insure National Sovereignty Effectively Manage our Colonial Possessions: Iraq & Afghanistan Renationalize the One World Economy & Government: The W.T.O., N.A.U. & N.A.F.T.A
No Cap in Trade
In order to disable our dependence on foreign goods we suggest legal measures be instated that disallow the import of said goods from these sources on a corporate-industrial level. Therefore, in O.P.E.C.S case, the U.S. would be forced to purchase all of it’s oil from other national suppliers such as; Canada, Venezuela, Mexico, Central Asia, Russia, several African nations as well as stimulating increased domestic production from the southwest and Alaska.
This would be of course all in lieu of expanding affordable alternative energy sources such as electric, clean coal, hydrogen, nuclear, wind and solar power and/or any combination of these sources that function most effectively for the overall economic betterment of the U.S.A. In regard to China, a complete excision of imports would of course cause, let us say, dramatic consequences not limited to the complete collapse of the stock market.
China’s market itself has safeguards that regulate massive fluctuations, but in America, the government would be compelled to step in and freeze trading completely. We feel that this cessation of market activity may be applied to the positive long-term betterment of the domestic economy during which the operating premises of our system can be revamped for the express purpose of encouraging domestic exports, manufacturing, and the dismemberment of all “free-trade” relationships. With these new paradigms in place, the U.S. may feel confident to re-nationalize domestic property, such as ports, which have been sold to Gulf nations and those of the Far East, and assume the said assets as American territorial holdings.
Needless to say, this initiative will not gain the U.S.A. any friends around the world.
However, as it stands there are very few real friends to the nation anyway, and for the few American’s who actually travel abroad, they know that this is in fact the reality even in Western Europe. The domestic media presents a very different take, and only feels comfortable with anti-French rhetoric, but many supposedly friendly states take issue against the U.S.A. frequently.
Perhaps by championing the disadvantaged under China’s heel such as Taiwan, Tibet and the oppressed underclass of China itself, the community of nations might feel that the moral position of the U.S. is justified, and ideally the other members of the Security Council may side with us.
Since this tactic includes the proposition of increasing oil purchases from Russia, perhaps they would back us up effectively. As a maxim it could be suggested that in most cases, any endemic “mafia” culture will side with any institution that will facilitate that which works best for its own financial aggrandizement.
With sovereign territory returned to U.S. national holding, the issue of illegal residents may be easily addressed…with the onus placed on the nations who sponsor active emigration to America. Thus, with the message sent that the U.S. is “not playing around” making national borders secure should be easily accomplished. Strong nations do not build walls to insure sovereignty…only declining ones do.
Such is the example of Hadrian’s Wall in the south of Scotland, built when Rome was no longer on the way up but more to the contrary.
Mexico, the most ardent violator in regard to this issue, should be forced to patrol their border with us and not the other way around. The consequence of their failure should be met with “detrimental reprisals” that will make non-compliance an unacceptable option. Surely, the demeanor of the U.S.A. would be perceived internationally as very different from the way it is now, and thus we could, or should, extend this premise to the method in which we administer our “colonial possessions”. If one was to ask the average American what our forces were doing in various nations abroad, they would routinely recite the government and partisan media’s jargon that refers to these territories.
Thus, we never hear such formerly independent nations such as Iraq normally termed as colonies…but that is exactly what they are.
As colonies, the U.S. could theoretically appropriate such manufactured goods such as oil directly in compensation for our military expenditures in the region. Accordingly, this would aid in destabilizing O.P.E.C. who would in reaction predictably push for the replacement of the Petro-Dollar Cycle with that of a Petro-Euro Cycle. America’s response to this eventuality could be in fact the introduction of a new currency inherently valued between the Dollar and the Euro, and that in the future all oil is traded in. We believe this initiative could be achieved by the creation and separation of a regional sub-entity whose economy is driven by this currency.
Rather than by the nefarious "AMERO".
An area such as that of New York City and its immediate vicinity could be evolved into this semi-separate territory. We suggest that the twenty-four counties of the tri-state area come under this denomination and be renamed as to be a distinct unit separate from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. We also suggest that this “medium” currency…mainly used in banking and the Petro-Cycle, be termed the “Guilder” and that the area return to its original Dutch appellation of New Amsterdam and the New Netherlands. With all of these initiatives in place an official withdrawal from the World Trade Organization, the proposed North American Union, and N.A.F.T.A. would be all but superfluous, but would be symbolically and philosophically meaningful in regard to placing impediments to the “One World Government” and “New World Order” philosophies that we believe are leading the U.S. and the other nations down a path that will inexorably lead to a furthering of systems of control and the ultimate enslavement of mankind in a gilded cage constructed by a few individuals who already maintain an illusionary hegemony aloft an economic pinnacle of wealth.
Jeffersonian Democracy
Since we fully expect that these, or most of these, measures will not be voluntarily enacted by the present administration due to the entrenchment of greed inherent to the process, we believe that the appropriate evolution of attitudes that should be encouraged relating to an alternative group of measures may be culled from the Jeffersonian approach to the Democratic process. Jefferson, like the Dutch Founding fathers, believed that economics should be “laissez-faire” and that the betterment of citizens of the, and any nation, would inexorably come from the increasing wealth, education and non-interference of the government in matters of small business. He, and they, could have barely imagined that small business could or would have become such an endangered animal in the America of the future…thus, in keeping with such thinking, we believe that the government should interfere with “big business”; who have in very real sense interfered with small business and the innate freedoms that were valued so much when America was a new nation.
These ideals not only referred to a limited government and the non-interference of its citizen’s personal matters, but also extended to the notion of “generational revolutions” by which citizens would learn the value of democracy and freedom.
The powers that be would like the average American to feel that such massive change and by extension the U.S. government itself is immune from the social and political effects that have acted upon every other government and society sine the beginning of civilization. The media encourages the notion that such massive change only occurs “in backward nations somewhere else”. Ideally, we at Asharucorp would like to see positive changes along the lines we have suggested, and in the frame of our current system, however, on the other hand, we are aware that some of our more “extreme” suggestions may be held as seditious or counter-productive. Bear in mind that our observations as well as our solutions to these observations are only presented and can only be seriously entertained as possible options and hypothetical applications in reaction to a massive cultural shift or other unforeseen or disclosed calamity.
Please refer to our pages on this site that extend certain hypothetical elements of this thinking to a specific and greater level, including our “Free New Amsterdam” and “OLS” articles.
A Recitation of Principals
We believe, in principal, with the democratic process. We believe in the equal, inalienable rights of all humanity. We support positive achievable sociological and economic change for the U.S. We support independent, privately held small local businesses in the U.S.
We ally with any forces that a predisposed to the disempowerment of the military-industrial complex, media brainwashing, and the corporate consumer culture. We ally with any forces that maintain intentions of curtailing any forays into pan-nationalism, one-world government and the so-called “global economy”.
We endorse anti-federalist micro-management of states rights excluding national and constitutional laws. We endorse the creation of further state divisions within the domestic U.S., such as the creation of a distinct North and South California entities and an independent New Amsterdam, for the purpose of insuring and defeating the pan-national initiatives of the N.A.U., N.A.F.T.A., and W.T.O., which are merely prototype devices created by the proponents of internationalist philosophies of the “new world order” and “one-world government”.
We endorse any international independent non-violent determination movements that may claim a legitimate cause of distinct language, folkway, religion, or ethnic composition such as; the Basque country, the region of Brittany, an Albanian Kosovo, an independent country of Kurdistan, separate and distinct Israeli and Palestinian entities, Berber rights and identity in North Africa, Tibetan freedom from Chinese oppression, a fully independent Scotland and Wales, the disentanglement of Ossetia and Abkhazia from the Georgian Republic, and the rights of the indigenous peoples of North and South America.
We are not favorably disposed to the Governments, or the actions of the Governments of: the People’s Republic of China, North Korea, Iran, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the Republic of Georgia, and Mexico, among others.
And lastly, we, in principal, overtly reject the intolerance and discrimination that marches hand-in-hand with any religious literalists, fundamentalists, and extremists of all stripes, whether they be adherents of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Scientology, Paganism, Atheism, Mormonism or any other faith and/or belief system.
