"Elusive timbres and sweet cadences, stitched together in the fabric of a morose dirge, rise and fall…build up inertia, and then, just as suddenly, come to a full stop…a dramatic drop. Stridently insistent and plowing across the page like the sound of drums…or in languorously undulating intonations that might rather be plucked upon the lyres of Apollo and Calliope. First person, third, past tense, present, these verbs, nouns, and adjectives, find their own way…their right order, mercilessly slain or elaborated in revision, revision, revision."
-An excerpt from "Sententiae in Scintilla..." a work of free prose by Ira Aron Rosenblum (Copyright 2010)
As an individual artist/author, Ira Aron Rosenblum supports in premise the traditional publishing paradigm.
Having stood as a personal witness to the full scale destruction, both economically and artistically, that was visited upon the music industry from within, he is philosophically incapable of supporting the digitization of print media, specifically in the form of full-length books, uncompromisingly.
Exclusions to this tenet are such alternative on-line offerings such as newsletters, website updates, reference books in the public domain, on-line journals and/or personal blogs; which by their very nature do not necessarily threaten the future job security of innumerable persons in the traditional publishing world and denigrate the position and impact of the creative artist in our society further.
Concordantly, it should be abundantly obvious that aside from all economic and sociological concerns or the ramifications thereafter affecting the artistic community on the whole, he, as a creator, is first and foremost dedicated to his own unique vision, studied craft, artistic process and the resultant literary product.
Mr. Rosenblum has specifically endeavored to doggedly strive ahead with his fiction writing since the inception of the year 2008, and has since produced (within sixteen month) two complete manuscripts (one of them standing with two mini companions) in varying genres, and has established the basis of four succeeding works, as well as a number of tangential concepts still in their infancy...including an evolving treatment of a television pilot/series with a frequent collaborator.
Thus far, seven distinct pages related to his un-published manuscripts and other writing projects are available for viewing on this site. These include one page dedicated to "The Albigensian Seed" and one to "The Forest Kingdom of Drisnia" series. These pages presently display the two page sales and marketing solicitation "one-sheets", synopsis, bio material and prototype graphic images.
In addition to these pages are an "Author's Bio" page, a "Manuscript Statistics" page, and a "Legal Notice" page; which is posted as a refence to the copyright information regarding the manuscripts.
A page displaying literary excerpts from a variety of his works is available for viewing as well as a continually updated page detailing "Forthcoming Manuscripts", which chronicles Mr. Rosenblum's progress on texts he is currently developing.
All pages are easily accessed from the site menu.
